Iran 0 – 2 Portugal: The Dream is Over

Well, it’s over.
Iran succumbed to portugal today 2-0.  So sad to see it, and so frustrating.  Now the best we can do is hope to give a big defeat to Angola and save our pride, and then start planning for the Asian Cup and then South Africa 2010.

I’m too depressed to say anything at this point.
A pretty accurate account of the game here. We had it in our hands, and we let it slip through, and now, it’s pretty much finished for us. I doubt if we’d even be able to beat Angola.
