An interesting article and video from Think Progress. It is an interview with one of those hungry neo-cons, Norman Podhoretz. Here is a very revealing excerpt:
In a new interview, Podhoretz was asked to comment on the possible fallout of the military strikes he advocates. “Well, if we were to bomb the Iranians as I hope and pray we will,” Podhoretz says, “we’ll unleash a wave of anti-Americanism all over the world that will make the anti-Americanism we’ve experienced so far look like a lovefest.”
I find it quite amazing that a man who is wiling to admit such a fact, can still continue to advocate such a thing. But that’s just me.
On a completely seperate and more amusing note, here is a ‘map’ from STRANGE MAPS. Each country is represented by teh american State with the same overall GDP. If you are curious, here is teh original blog post with more info: Ironically, IRAN is Alabama!
I find this absolutely scandalous. This is the newly elected anglo/american/capitalist-friendly french President Nicolas Sarkozy, giving a press conference at the G8 conference, UTTERLY DRUNK. Shame….

However, signs point to a return within a week. I suppose it’s ok to take a small break every once in a while as well.
Well, i guess the news is kind of sad, but it’s good in a sense as well.
The awesome "Battlestar Galactica" Series, one of the hallmarks of the Sci-Fi network, will end after next year’s fourth season. According to yahoo news, the choice was that of the producers.
This is good, in teh sense these are the same guys who conceived the idea of then entire show’s storyline, and thus they clearly have a specific ending in mind for the series. Good for them.
What i wish to post very soon, is a long post on my theory on what we have learned by the end of the third season. I think it’s a very good theory on what is going on, with the cylons and the twelve colonies and Earth.
Promise, that will come soon!
